Terminal 1 Arrival Route

Most passengers arriving at Terminal 1 simply follow the Arrival signs to Immigration.

After Immigration: Baggage Claim ??Customs ??Arrival Hall.

Some flights arrive at a remote concourse. If this happens, take the free shuttle train (IAT) first, then continue to Immigration by following the Arrival signs.

Terminal 2 Arrival Route

Most passengers arriving at Terminal 2 can walk directly to Immigration by following the Arrival signs.

Terminal 2 normally does not require a shuttle train. Simply follow the airport signs from your gate to Immigration.

What happens after I land in Korea?

After landing at Incheon Airport, most first-time visitors follow this order: confirm the terminal, follow the arrival route to immigration, collect checked baggage, pass customs and enter the arrivals hall.

How do I know if I arrived at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2?

Use your flight number to confirm your terminal, gate and baggage information on the official Incheon Airport display. Korea Inside does not provide live flight search until official airport data integration is ready.

Can I walk between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2?

No. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are separate buildings. Do not try to walk between them. Use the free airport shuttle bus, AREX, or another airport transfer option.

How do I get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2?

Use the free terminal shuttle bus or AREX between the terminals. Follow the airport signs for terminal transfer after you enter the public area.

Do I need to fill out an arrival card?

It depends on your nationality, visa status and current entry rules. Some travelers may need to submit an e-Arrival Card before entering Korea. If you already have valid K-ETA approval, you may not need an arrival card. Always check the latest official Korea entry requirements before your flight.

What documents should I keep ready for immigration?

Keep your passport ready. Depending on your nationality and travel status, you may also need visa information, K-ETA approval, e-Arrival Card details, accommodation address in Korea and return or onward flight information.

How long does immigration usually take at Incheon Airport?

It can be quick when the airport is not busy, but it may take longer during peak arrival times. First-time visitors should allow extra time before making tight transport plans.

How do I find my baggage claim belt?

After immigration, follow the signs to baggage claim. Airport screens show the baggage belt number for each flight. Match your flight number with the belt number on the screen.

What should I do if my luggage is missing?

Go to the baggage service or lost baggage counter near the baggage claim area before leaving customs. Keep your baggage tag and flight details ready.

Do I need to go through customs?

Yes. After collecting your baggage, you pass through customs before entering the arrivals hall. If you have items to declare, follow the declaration process. If not, follow the normal exit route.

What should I do before leaving the airport?

Before leaving the airport, make sure you have mobile data, your hotel address, a payment method, and a transport plan. This helps avoid problems after you enter the city.
